His and Hers Online Card Class – Day 3 Homework

Hi all!  Hope everyone is having a a great week! 🙂  While this class is wrapping up as an interactive class, you can still take it as an independent course, at a reduced fee!

Today’s homework featured Sympathy cards for male and female recipients.  I particularly liked the idea which  Heather  Nichols presented regarding pocket cards.  This style of card allows the recipient to take the inside card piece and do what they will with it – put it in their purse or wallet or frame it or whatever they desire!  Here are two pictures of the Sympathy cards I made – the first picture shows the individual pieces, and the second picture shows the assembled cards.

While Heather’s examples used brads to create the inside pocket, I chose just to use a strong adhesive on the outside pocket edges.

Please feel free to leave a comment or suggestions for improvement!  I look forward to seeing your comments every day. 🙂  Hugs!

    • Hi! The “stars” sentiment is from Impression Obsession’s Sympathy Sentiments set. Here is a link to their site, http://www.iostamps.com – just search for ‘sympathy’ and it should pop up.

The other sentiment is from My Favorite Things Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy set. Here is a link to their site, https://www.mftstamps.com – just search for ‘sympathy’ and it should pop up.

Thanks so much for dropping by and leaving a comment! Hugs!

  1. Thanks so much! I ordered the stars set for one of my best friends. We just loved it. I really appreciate the speedy reply. We stamp lovers tend to become obsessed when we find a nice card like yours and want the stamps. Take care,
