A friend of mine is turning 60, and both he and his wife are very talented musicians! Here is the card I made him, with a peek of the envelope I stamped to match. The glue on the top two notes was still wet when I took this picture, but will dry clear and won’t be noticeable.
- Stamps: The sentiment on the inside says ” wishing you everything good” and “happy birthday” – stamped with Hero Arts Essential Messages (CL371) (https://www.heroarts.com). The image on the envelope and on the smaller front focal piece are from Local Rubber King Stamps Musicing set (http://localkingrubberstamp.3dcartstores.com). The larger front focal piece is a LaBlanche stamp. The “60”, and the little star next to it, are from Close to My Heart’s Advent Calendar Workshop Holidays set (http://thestampgoddess.ctmh.com/Retail/Category.aspx).
- Papers: Gina K. Brown Cardstock (http://www.shop.ginakdesigns.com, Studio Calico Kraft cardstock. American Crafts 5×7 Chestnut Card (used as base – https://www.misterart.com/paper-boards/writing-printer-paper/stationery-paper/american-crafts-card-and-envelope-packs.html)
- Punches & Dies: My Favorite Things Die-namics Musical Notes (https://www.mftstamps.com) – they were punched in a darker brown cardstock – although the picture makes it look black; Spellbinders Labels Eighteen
- Inks/Color Mediums: Hero Hues Brown Bark
- Other: Washi Tape
Hope everyone is having a wonderful evening! Hugs!
